Well, my granddad finally passed away on Sunday. For the last 3 years he had been living in a home, and had slowly been deteriorating.
I am glad he is now at rest, and I am looking forward to the funeral tomorrow so we can celebrate his life.
He was a trawler man for the best part of his working life (the Cod wars put an end to that). He was always a gentleman, and that is how I will always remember him.
I imagine he is sharing a cuppa with Grandma right now, and looking forward to being with us tomorrow.

Hes probably got headache already....Ive already commented on the fact that the first thing Grandma said to him when he passed over was "were the bloody hell do you think you've been" and his response was along the lines that she always kept him waiting in life so hes paid her back in death.
I'm abit apprehensive about tomorrow, and if you read this Uncle Phil.....please dont put your hankie and keys in the same pocket again, I cant cope with the fit of giggles it created at grandmas funeral for a second time.
cant find u on facebook...over 500 mark taylors. Add me Angela Dunstan.
