Was in a motorway service station yesterday on my way back from working in Wethersfield, when I looked up and saw Edwina Currie at the sandwich counter! She looked a bit smaller than when shes on TV causing egg scares, but it was definitely her!
The garage is coming on really well, I'll post some pics of it soon.

i went politician wife spotting once, two jags wife, ugly pauline, walked out infront of my bus once, i blasted my horn at her and she actually had the cheek to come to my door and........i kid you not.........ask me if i knew who she was? well i assured her i did. i said yes madam i do, you are the silly cow that has just very nearly caused a nasty accident, and ended up crushed under a bus!!! i bid her farewell and carried on along my merry way.
Nice one Phil. I can't imagine that anyone gets a good reception with that line "Do you know who I am" - so why do it? It amazes me.
Though, actually, I remember doing it myself once. When I was a trainee at PW - an enormous accountancy firm, I once rang the London office and was cheekily ordering some kit that really I didn't qualify for. The clerk on the other side of the phone started asking me for all kinds of details and whatnot so I, in my crossest voice, said, "Do you know who I am!" and luckily, she didn't and sent me the stuff lol.
