Well Im up and running here in sunny Lincolnshire. Got the house put straight, with more than a little help from my mum, dad and Claire (thanks!) The place seems really big compared with what I was used to in Malvern, and even my mum reckons her house is smaller! The gardens are going to take some time to maintain, and I want to rotavate and turf the back garden. Luckily, I havent yet electrocuted myself, so Im doing well if past DIY exploits are anything to go by.
The broadband sprung to life on Monday, but my PC's power supply decided to go 'Bang' last Thursday as I was updating my iPod. The broadband is taking a while to settle, cos appaerntly they run some line tests to optimise speed before you get the full monty.
The 'Surfing' weekend was great! However, there was absolutely no surf whatsoever! We ended up playing footy, rounders and frisbee on the beach, before heading off to the pub, to drink ourselves beautiful, which obviously took my brother longer than the rest of us :-) I have a few pictures to post when I get them off my phone, and Im sure other people have some too
Anyway, Im off to water my hanging baskets - its tough being a homeowner :-)
