Its Quiz Time!

Starters for 10, no confering....

My street has 50 houses. Yesterday afternoon (before any storms) I returned from work to find that 2 of those houses had no electricity.

For 10 points, guess who's house was one of them?

Its still not back on this morning. When I rang the 'power' company I am with (who I will not name, but it begins with an 'n' and the last four letters are 'ower' and I believe there is a 'P' somewhere in there) they said there was no problem in my area.

After convincing them there was, they assured me they would have the engineers on it right away.

At 7:45 I decided to ring them again just to make sure (Remember I trust no one) they weren't fobbing me off. As I suspected they were feeding me a pack of lies and no engineers were on their way.

Anyway at 10:30 an bloke turned up and ran some tests, and assured me the line engineers would be out over night and the electricity would be back on in the morning.

Im still waiting now :-(
